Volunteer Opportunities

Live Well San Diego Speaker’s Bureau

San Diego County residents can gain the most up-to-date health information with a presentation by a nurse or health care professional. Learn More: Live Well San Diego Speaker’s Bureau.

Internship Opportunities

Are you an administrative whiz, have marketing savvy, and want to learn about real-life community health opportunities? We can use your academic background and you can use the course credit and intern hours!  We have openings all the time in evaluation, grant writing, promotions, social media, events, and administration.

Project Access San Diego: Specialty Healthcare Physicians

Provide pro bono specialty medical services in your office through Project Access San Diego. We make it easy for you and your office team to provide much-needed medical care to uninsured, low-income adults in our community.

Provide Physician-to-Physician Consults

Provide specialist-to-primary care physician consultations through eConsultSD. You set your hours and log in on your time to provide your consultation to primary-care physicians in need. For more information, read the information sheet for specialists or the information sheet for primary care providers.  To sign up to either submit or answer eConsults, contact Adama Dyoniziak, Executive Director.

Assist With Preventive Care

Assist with immunizations, blood pressure screenings, and colorectal cancer screening education.  We are currently seeking healthcare professionals to assist with COVID-19 vaccinations, we are particularly in need of health professionals able to give flu vaccinations in the fall and blood pressure readings every Valentine’s Day at Love Your Heart Day.

Participate in Project Access Surgeries and Procedures
